Adrian joined GPlus from the French Employers Confederation’s (MEDEF) permanent delegation to the EU. During his time at MEDEF Adrian was responsible for contacting and organising meetings with the Bulgarian and Romanian Commissioners and MEPs. He was also in charge of relations with the employers’ federations of South-East Europe and he followed European parliament’s committees on matters of corporate interest. Before coming to Brussels Adrian worked in the French Trade representation in Bulgaria and for the French Ministry of Finance and Industry in Paris. Earlier in his career he had stints at both UNESCO in Paris and the Bulgarian Ministry of Transport in Sofia.

Adrian holds a Masters in Economics from the Université Panthéon-Sorbonne in Paris where he specialised in development and transition economics. There he researched on topics as diverse as corruption, the “brain-drain” and economic development. Later on, Adrian obtained a MA in European Political studies from the College of Europe in Bruges, where his particular focus was on the EU’s Black Sea policies. His domains of interests are the Balkans, the CIS and energy.

Adrian is fluent in Bulgarian, French and English and speaks Russian and German.
