Andrea's expertise and focus mainly lies on energy, environment and competition issues, but she has also advised clients on questions of intellectual property rights and transport policy.

Andrea is managing the European part of a worldwide consortium advising a major international energy company on media and public affairs activities, and is giving communications advice to companies on competition cases, intellectual property policy and the EU emission trading system. Earlier in her career at GPlus she was part of the team advising the press service of the Russian President and assisted one of the world's biggest airport operators in its dealings with Brussels.

Before Andrea joined GPlus 2 years ago, she worked for Tim Farron MP in the House of Commons at Westminster. Prior to that, she was at the European Commission in DG Justice, Freedom and Security, and at the Department for Human Rights at the German Foreign Office in Berlin. In the European Commission Andrea was responsible for a key part of the EU's move towards biometric visas for the Schengen area, including the tender procedure.

Andrea is a qualified lawyer, specialised in EU law. She studied in Würzburg, Padova, Munich and Berlin, and also holds a Master's Degree in European Studies from the London School of Economics. A German national, she is fluent in English and has a working knowledge of Italian and French.
