Cécile Vernant
Account Manager Cécile is a corporate and marketing communications expert. Since joining GPlus in 2007 she has helped a leading technology company implement its corporate reputation strategy, advised both a multinational and an SME on EU competition policy and worked in the field of EU trade policy. Cécile worked previously at DG Trade in the European Commission. Working in the department's communications team, she handled relations with the European Parliament and was involved in campaigns promoting the benefits of trade policy and the Doha Development Agenda, and the July 2007 Ministerial Conference. Earlier in her career, Cécile worked in the U.S. as the communications project manager for a leading manufacturer of chemicals and construction materials where she created and implemented a worldwide PR corporate reputation programme. She also worked for Hertz in the marketing department and for a French Communication consultancy, managing a European communications campaign for the French Federation of tourism offices. Cécile holds a Master's degree in Business from Reims Management School (Sup de Co), as well as a MBA from Northeastern University in Boston, with a concentration in International Business and Marketing Communications. She also has a bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the Université Droit et Lettres de Reims. In addition to her native French, Cécile speaks English and understands German and some Spanish. |
