GPLUS STRENGTHENS LEADERSHIP TEAM

GPlus Europe, the EU political and communications consultancy, today announces a beefed-up leadership team. Co-founder Peter Guilford becomes Executive Chairman, while Tim Price and Gregor Kreuzhuber become Senior Partners with immediate effect. Nick Taylor remains Chief Operating Officer.

“In the first ten years GPlus has become everything I hoped it would have – and more – when I started the business in 2000. But we cannot rest on our laurels. The market is changing, and despite the challenging economic circumstances there are an increasing number of opportunities out there. Gregor and Tim have the right credentials and drive to help me take the GPlus success story to the next level”, said Executive Chairman Peter Guilford, who will in the future be dedicating even more time to ensuring high standards of client service and business development.

In a few months GPlus will celebrate its tenth birthday. During that time the company has grown from the original two people to over fifty. The new leadership team reflects our ambition to preserve GPlus’ highly successful business model while equipping the company for future challenges and new ventures. On a day-to-day basis the company will continue to be managed by a strong Partnership team.

Gregor, a former senior adviser to EU Commissioners Günter Verheugen and Franz Fischler, will take on particular responsibility for the services GPlus offers its clients. Tim, who has eight years of experience advising some of the world’s biggest companies and governments on EU affairs and political communications, will lead the corporate growth strategy and search for new talent. Nick will continue to be responsible for the commercial side of the company.

Gregor said: “The changes we are announcing today show our determination to continue to offer excellence to our clients and bring the best out of our staff”.

Tim added: “Our goal is for GPlus to remain an exciting, fun and intellectually stimulating environment in which to work. To do this our service to clients has to be first-class and our ambitions have to match those of our clients who operate in a global environment”.
