Account Director

Email: annesophiedebrancion@gpluseurope.com Direct line: +32 2 282 9633

Anne-Sophie specialises in competition and intellectual property, advising multinational clients mainly in the technology sector. She has gained hands-on media experience managing press relations around one of the most high profile EU competition cases and implementing a corporate reputation strategy for a leading technology company.

She joined GPlus in February 2006 from the Enlargement department of the European Commission. Working in the department's communications team, she handled relations with other EU institutions, including the European Parliament and was involved in campaigns promoting the benefits of EU enlargement policy.

Anne-Sophie has private and the public sector experience. Earlier in her career, as an EU affairs consultant for a British chemicals company, she advised on regulatory issues as well as the company's representation in Brussels. Anne-Sophie has also worked at the EU Institute for Security Studies and at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both in Paris.

Anne-Sophie has two Master's degrees - one in International Relations from the London School of Economics and the other in European Affairs from the Paris-based Institut d'Etudes Politiques (Sciences Po). She also spent a year at University College London studying European cinema and social anthropology.

In addition to her native French and Danish, she is fluent in English, speaks German, and is learning Turkish and Russian.
