Daniel Brinkwerth Account ExecutiveEmail: danielbrinkwerth@gpluseurope.com Ligne directe: +32 2 239 2056 Daniel joined GPlus in 2007. His three main areas of expertise are energy, environment and pharmaceuticals. He worked previously in the healthcare and pharmaceuticals practice of Weber Shandwick Brussels. There Daniel handled issues ranging from bioterrorism and pandemic preparedness to disease awareness raising and industrial technologies. He conceived of and organised several high-level conferences, helped with the launch of international multi-stakeholder campaigns and counselled clients on engagement with EU policy-makers and the media. Prior to coming to Brussels, Daniel worked in both the German Foreign Affairs and Economics Ministries, and did a stint at the German Embassy in Tokyo. He assisted research projects at the German Council on Foreign Relations into impacts of globalization on national sovereignty and of the Free University of Berlin into tools for policy analysis. Moreover, Daniel contributed to a publication of the NGO Germanwatch on WTO policies and worked for Bayer’s patent department and pharmaceutical production. Daniel studied political sciences, economics and public law in Bonn and Berlin. Trained as a paramedic, he speaks German, English and French. |
