Julius von Freytag-LoringhovenAccount Executive Email: juliusfreytag@gpluseurope.com Ligne directe: +32 2 234 6219 Julius specialises in energy and environment policy. He joined GPlus in June 2008 from the European Government Affairs office of BP, where he was working as an Advisor on energy and climate change policy related issues like biofuels, electricity and gas markets, the European Emissions Trading Scheme and energy security. Previously he experienced a different communications environment in the Public Affairs practice of Genesis/Burson-Marsteller in New Delhi, where he advised a large international beverage company on crisis communications. Julius has also worked for a Lithuanian MEP and as a research assistant at the Centre of European Policy Studies (CEPS), a leading think-tank in Brussels. A German national, Julius studied Political Science, Philosophy and Economics in Munich and holds a Master in Political Strategy and Communications from the University of Kent in Brussels. He also studied Russian in St. Petersburg for a year. Trained as an officer of tank reconnaissance he is fluent in English and German and speaks some Russian. |
