Nicholas Elles
Account Executive Nicholas joined GPlus in January 2010. He works with clients in the areas of banking, insurance, EU trade policy and energy. Immediately prior to joining GPlus Nicholas worked for the Institute for State Effectiveness in Brussels and Washington, working with developing countries to build their institutional capacities. Earlier in his career Nicholas worked at the European Commission's DG External Relations, and as a researcher at both the Institut Français des Relations Internationales (IFRI) and the Madariaga European Foundation, on issues such as financial markets, energy security and conflict prevention. Nicholas holds a degree in History and Development studies as well as a Masters in Political Economy and International Relations from the University of Sussex. He also studied at the Université Catholique de Louvain where he specialised in international economics. As well as his native English and French, Nicholas is fluent in Italian and speaks some German and Spanish.
