Julius joined g+ in 2008 from the European government affairs office of BP, where he was working as an advisor on energy and climate change.
He is a specialist in European energy and environmental policies, renewable energies, and electricity and gas markets. He advises clients in strategic and crisis communications, as well as campaign management.
Earlier in his career Julius worked for Genesis/Burson-Marsteller in New Delhi. There he advised a large international beverage company on crisis communications. Julius has also worked for a Lithuanian MEP and as a research assistant at the Centre of European Policy Studies (CEPS), a leading Brussels-based think-tank.
A German national, he studied Political Science, Philosophy and Economics in Munich and holds a Master's in Political Strategy and Communications from the University of Kent. He also studied Russian in St. Petersburg for a year. Trained as an officer of tank reconnaissance, he is fluent in English and German and speaks some Russian.
