Vukasin joined g+ in September 2009, following a stint at the European Commission where he was working on a number of anti-dumping investigations within the trade department, mostly connected with China.
Previously he had worked for an Italian think-tank, Equilibri, where he ran research projects in the field of economics, politics and international relations. He also worked in India for Grey, the advertising group, where he did a study into the Indian mobile phone market.
Vukasin holds a degree in International Economics and Management from Università Luigi Bocconi in Milan, and a Master's degree in European Studies from the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands, where he also worked as a tutor for a course on globalisation. During his studies he spent a semester at the Ivey School of Business in London-Ontario (Canada) and lived for one year in Hong Kong. A Croatian national, Vukasin grew up in Italy.
In addition to his native Croatian, he speaks fluently Italian and English. He is improving his French.
