Benedikt joined g+ in April 2010. He advises clients in the areas of financial markets, the creative industries and agriculture. Benedikt brings to g+ a background in business, having spent the last 6 months working in sales, marketing and communications and change management for an SME based in Germany.
Before this he worked in Strasbourg at both the Council of Europe and the Association of Local Democracy Agencies, where he was responsible for a wide variety of tasks including drafting reports, project and event management, communication activities and seeking for funding from the EU and UN. Benedikt started his career in Berlin at the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung where he specialised in Central and Eastern Europe affairs.
Benedikt has a Master's degree in European Studies from the University of Strasbourg and graduated in Political Sciences from the University of Regensburg. In addition to his native German, Benedikt is fluent in English, and speaks French, Slovak and Russian.
