Jasmijn joined g+ in August 2010 and works in the following policy areas: energy, trade defence and ICT.
Prior to this Jasmijn worked at the Dutch Information Office of the European Parliament. She then moved to Brussels researching EU environmental policy and working for a global relocation services company. During her Master's degree in European Political and Administrative Studies at the College of Europe in Bruges, she worked for the “Government of the Future Centre” – a think-tank set-up by Accenture, the Lisbon Council and the College of Europe – investigating opportunities for e-governance in Europe.
Jasmijn also studied at the University of Utrecht and the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in French Language and Culture, and a Master's degree in Political Science. She has also studied and lived in Lyon and Marseille, France.
Besides her native Dutch, Jasmijn is fluent in English and French, works in German, and is currently learning Italian.
