Email: timprice@gpluseurope.com Tim has seven years of experience in providing strategic communications advice to both governments and multinational companies. Since April 2006 Tim has been a senior media adviser to the Press Service of the Russian President. This has included support at major international events such as the G8 summits in St Petersburg and Hokkaido and EU-Russia summits, counsel on major international news stories, including on energy, and media training. In addition, Tim currently advises a leading pharmaceutical association on their entire EU strategy. He works with the world's leading resources company, advising them on their relations with the EU institutions, particularly on environmental and development policy. He is a senior adviser to one of the biggest energy companies, and he provides communications advice to the Chairman of the European group of national telecoms regulators, the ERG. During his time at GPlus Tim has also worked with a number of European and American companies and associations who were involved in complex competition negotiations with the European Commission. This included working with De Beers when it signed a trade agreement with the Russian giant Alrosa; and the Lloyd's Market Association during an investigation by DG Competition after the September 11 attacks in New York. Tim was also part of the team that led the development of the agenda for the re-launch of the TransAtlantic Business Dialogue, a CEO-led group of leading businesses, from 2003-2005. In 2004 he advised the new Ukrainian government on its policy towards Brussels. Earlier in his career Tim worked in the Press Office of the European Commission's Representation in London, as well as for the British Council and the French Ministry of Education. In 1999, Tim was a candidate for the Pro-Euro Conservative party in the European Parliament elections in the UK. He is now a member of Britain's Liberal Democrat party. Tim graduated from Loughborough University in the UK with a first class honours degree in Politics, French and German. He also did a Masters degree in EU Politics at the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium. Tim speaks English and French fluently, works in German, understands Dutch and is learning Serbian.
