Immediately prior to joining Vincenzo worked for the Centre for European Studies, the political foundation of the EPP - the centre-right political grouping - in Brussels, providing policy analysis and assisting the editorial board of the European View. Earlier in his career Vincenzo worked for the German Marshall Fund of the United States where he ran research projects on international trade and reform of EU agricultural policy. In his spare time he travelled extensively in Latin America and ran a research project on EU-Latin America relations.

Vincenzo holds a degree in Political Science and International Relations from LUISS University in Rome and a Masters in EU Politics and Government from the London School of Economics. He also studied at ICADE University in Madrid where he specialised in Law and Economics.

In addition to his native Italian, Vincenzo is fluent in English, Spanish and French, and speaks some German.
