Vukasin joined GPlus in September 2009, following a stint at the European Commission where he was working on a number of anti-dumping investigations within DG Trade, mostly connected with China. Previously he had worked for an Italian based think-tank, Equilibri, where he ran research projects in the field of economics, politics and international relations. He also worked for the advertising group, Grey, in India where he did a study into the Indian mobile phone market.

Vukasin holds a Degree in International Economics and Management from Università Luigi Bocconi in Milan, and a Masters Degree in European Studies from the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands, where he also worked as Tutor in a course on Globalisation. During his studies he spent a semester at the Ivey School of Business in London-Ontario (Canada) and lived for one year in Hong Kong.

A Croat national, Vukasin grew up in Italy. In addition to his native Croatian, he speaks fluently Italian and English. He is improving his French.
