Yana Lapitskaya
Researcher Yana joined GPlus in July 2008. She supports the work of the team which advises the Press Service of the Russian President and also works in the area of pharmaceuticals. Before coming to Belgium, Yana worked in the Russian Presidential Administration, in the section handling EU relations. She worked on Russia-EU Summit meetings and dealt with the protocol issues. Earlier, Yana gained experience in public relations during her work at AST Publishing House, one of the biggest in Russia. Her responsibilities there included the planning and implementing of campaigns, media relations and maintenance of the website. Yana holds a degree in Political Science from the Russian State University for the Humanities, Moscow and a Masters in EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies from the College of Europe, Bruges. She is fluent in Russian, English and French, speaks Ukrainian, and understands some German and Italian. |
